The Freedom columns use a menu display with a settings list, a self-test and a demo mode. We ask which one you own before reading any signal. ### White on top, red below The Wine Reserve ships with its upper zone at 46°F for whites and its lower zone at 58°F for reds. A complaint that one zone runs warm starts with which zone it is, since each has its own setting and range. ### Breathing through the toe-kick The under-counter unit takes and returns its air only at the toe-kick in the base, and Thermador tells owners to vacuum behind it. A rug, a bin or dust in front of that grille is a common reason for long run times and an HI alarm. ### Humidity and a warmed front on the columns Freedom columns can raise humidity per climate zone to keep natural corks from shrinking, and the front of the housing is gently heated to stop condensation near the seal.
