With a zone probe out, the control cannot hold that zone properly. With no trustworthy number, the cabinet either chills the bottles far below cellar temperature or lets a zone drift warm. If the probe really has failed, it returns within a week, which is Perlick’s signal that service is needed. ### Is P2F possible on a single-zone Perlick? Perlick uses zone 2 only on dual-zone units, so P2F belongs to dual-zone reserves. ### Can the zone still cool with P1F? It may, but not accurately.
