Sabbath mode is for the Jewish Sabbath and holidays. It turns off the light and alarm functions, keeps the last temperature setting, and leaves only sb and two buttons visible. It switches itself off after 96 hours and stays on through a power outage. SKS wine cooler display · also shown as Sb, Sabbath mode What to do when sb shows on the wine cooler ### Kind of code Mode, not a failure A setting someone switched on, often by leaning on the touch panel or left over from the showroom floor, rather than a part that wore out: a demo mode that lights the display and the rack lamps while the cooling never starts, a Sabbath setting that turns off the lights and alarms, a child or control lock that ignores every key press, a reminder that the glass door stood open. The cabinet is fine, and its own keys or its manual switch the mode back off. ### Usually leads to No repair Read sb as a mode, not a problem; cooling continues. ### Shows up as Wine Cooler Error Code A wine cooler error code appears as letters and digits on the display, a flashing temperature, dashes where a number should be or a blinking symbol, sometimes with an alarm tone and sometimes while the cabinet stays perfectly cool. ### Make SKS SKS wine coolers repaired at home, with each zone read against its own setting. ### Source SKS SKSCW181RP / SKSCW241RP column owner's manual Columns SKSCW181RP and SKSCW241RP (shown as Sb) and undercounter SKSUW2401P (shown as sb). ## Before you book, in this order. Each step comes from SKS's own guidance for sb on its wine coolers. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Read sb as a mode, not a problem; cooling continues. 02 On a column, hold Upper and Power for 3 seconds to leave the mode. 03 On the undercounter unit, hold Wi-Fi and Lock for 3 seconds. 04 If sb will not clear, wait for the 96-hour automatic exit, then book a visit if it is still there. ### Cleared? The display has gone quiet and the cabinet is back at its setting without a new part. Should the code reappear this week, or the reds start feeling warm again, book a visit and mention that it came back. ### What not to do sb is not a sensor or door problem, and the unit keeps cooling. It is also not Display Mode, which shows OF and stops cooling. ## What you may notice with it. The wine cooler problems sb tends to arrive with.
