Café SA on the wine cooler display: Sabbath Mode is on

SA is the only thing a Café CCP06DP or CCR06DM display shows while Sabbath Mode is running.

Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 709-0727

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Café's own guidance for SA on its wine coolers. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Hold the minus key and DISPLAY together for 5 seconds; SA should clear and the zone temperature return.

02

If the panel still ignores you, wipe it dry and try again, since a wet glass panel can miss a long press.

03

Check the upper and lower zone settings afterward, because they stay where they were before SA appeared.

04

If SA returns by itself with nobody touching the panel, book a visit so the control can be checked.

Cleared?

The display has gone quiet and the cabinet is back at its setting without a new part. Should the code reappear this week, or the reds start feeling warm again, book a visit and mention that it came back.

What not to do

SA does not mean the Café has stopped cooling or lost its settings. It is a mode someone switched on, often by leaning on the panel while wiping it.

What you may
notice with it.

The wine cooler problems SA tends to arrive with. Answer these at the wine cooler before anyone is booked.

All problems

No repair indicated

Nothing to repair.

A setting someone switched on, often by leaning on the touch panel or left over from the showroom floor, rather than a part that wore out: a demo mode that lights the display and the rack lamps while the cooling never starts, a Sabbath setting that turns off the lights and alarms, a child or control lock that ignores every key press, a reminder that the glass door stood open. The cabinet is fine, and its own keys or its manual switch the mode back off.

Questions
about SA.

Can I clear SA myself?
Hold the minus key and DISPLAY together for 5 seconds; SA should clear and the zone temperature return.
Why won't the light come on in my Café wine cooler when SA is showing?
Sabbath Mode freezes the lights along with the keys, so opening the door changes nothing. End the mode with minus and DISPLAY held for 5 seconds and the light works again.
Does my Café wine cooler keep both zones cold while SA is on?
Yes. The compressor and fan run at set times and hold the last settings of both zones. You may hear the fan when the door opens, which is part of the timed cycle.
How did SA get on my Café wine cooler display by accident?
The mode starts when minus and DISPLAY are held together for 5 seconds. A hand resting on the panel while cleaning can do it; the same hold turns it off.

Back to your everyday

Still showing SA?

When you book, copy the code or the blink pattern as the display shows it, add the whole model number, and say whether the bottles still feel cool — a code gives the technician a head start.
