We service the Café CCP06DP (glass door with Café handle) and CCR06DM (pocket handle) undercounter wine centers. Both share one control and one owner's manual, so their alerts and modes read the same.

Connected, with a door watch

The Café wine center pairs with an app, and its Lockout Mode sounds the alarm and can send a notice when someone opens the door. A unit that alarms on every opening is usually in that mode, not broken.

Two ways to install

Café's manual gives one method for under the counter and another for freestanding use, where an anti-tip bracket must hold a rear leg and a guard covers the hinge. We check that bracket and guard whenever a freestanding unit rocks or its door drops.

Lights that react to you

Proximity lighting switches the interior on as someone approaches, and display mode keeps it on with the door shut. The LED itself is not an owner part; Café sends that job to a technician.

Two zones on one display

The display shows one zone at a time, marked Upper or Lower, and the High Temperature Alert covers the cabinet as a whole. We read both zones against a thermometer before blaming either one.

Parts

Café prints the model and serial on a label high on the left inside wall, and gaskets, drawers, hinge parts and the LED assembly are chosen from it. Controls and sealed-system parts are rarely on the truck and usually follow the diagnosis.

Repair or replace

That is Lockout Mode, meant for when you are away. Turn it off in the app or by holding plus and Control Lock for 3 seconds.
Can a Café wine cooler stand on its own instead of under a counter?
Yes. Café's freestanding method uses an anti-tip bracket at a rear leg and a guard over the hinge. Without the bracket the unit can tip when drawers are pulled out loaded.
Who replaces the light in a Café wine cooler?
