Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 709-0727

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from GE Profile's own guidance for SAb on its wine coolers. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Press and hold Lock and Light together for 5 seconds to leave Sabbath mode.

02

Confirm the upper and lower zone temperatures return to the display.

03

If SAb keeps coming back without anyone touching the panel, book a visit.

Cleared?

The display has gone quiet and the cabinet is back at its setting without a new part. Should the code reappear this week, or the reds start feeling warm again, book a visit and mention that it came back.

What not to do

SAb is not an error and does not mean either zone has warmed. On this model it is not Loc either: Loc is the key lock, SAb is the religious-observance mode.

What you may
notice with it.

The wine cooler problems SAb tends to arrive with. Answer these at the wine cooler before anyone is booked.

All problems

No repair indicated

Nothing to repair.

A setting someone switched on, often by leaning on the touch panel or left over from the showroom floor, rather than a part that wore out: a demo mode that lights the display and the rack lamps while the cooling never starts, a Sabbath setting that turns off the lights and alarms, a child or control lock that ignores every key press, a reminder that the glass door stood open. The cabinet is fine, and its own keys or its manual switch the mode back off.

Questions
about SAb.

Can I clear SAb myself?
Press and hold Lock and Light together for 5 seconds to leave Sabbath mode.
How do I get SAb off my GE Profile wine cooler?
Hold Lock and Light at the same time for 5 seconds. The zone temperatures come back on the display when the mode ends.
Is my GE Profile wine cooler still cooling while SAb shows?
Yes. Sabbath mode keeps both zones at the settings they had; it only changes how the unit answers the keys and door.
Why did SAb appear on my GE Profile wine cooler after cleaning?
Lock and Light sit next to each other on the panel, and holding both for 5 seconds starts the mode. A cloth pressed across them is enough.

Still showing SAb?

When you book, copy the code or the blink pattern as the display shows it, add the whole model number, and say whether the bottles still feel cool — a code gives the technician a head start.
