Inside the cabinet a small fan stirs the air so every rack sits at the same temperature; behind the grille or on the back, another carries heat away from the compressor or the hot side of a thermoelectric module. A bottle nudged against the inner fan guard, ice on a blade and dust packed into the grille are cleared before any motor is replaced.

Give the finned condenser about half an hour to reach room temperature, then take off the removable grille below the door.
Vacuum the condenser gently with a soft brush attachment, using gloves because the fins are sharp.
Restart the column with the Unit button, then touch the reset icon so the reminder returns in six months.
