Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 709-0727

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from JennAir's own guidance for Cool Off on its wine coolers. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Press and hold COOL ON for 3 seconds; the menus and preset temperatures should appear.

02

Leave both zones at the 50°F default or adjust them, then wait 24 hours before changing again.

03

If the unit will not leave Cool Off or drops back into it, book a visit.

Cleared?

The display has gone quiet and the cabinet is back at its setting without a new part. Should the code reappear this week, or the reds start feeling warm again, book a visit and mention that it came back.

What not to do

Cool Off on a newly installed unit is expected, not a failure. If other menus still work while Cool Off is lit, see Showroom Mode instead.

What you may
notice with it.

The wine cooler problems Cool Off tends to arrive with. Answer these at the wine cooler before anyone is booked.

All problems

No repair indicated

Nothing to repair.

A setting someone switched on, often by leaning on the touch panel or left over from the showroom floor, rather than a part that wore out: a demo mode that lights the display and the rack lamps while the cooling never starts, a Sabbath setting that turns off the lights and alarms, a child or control lock that ignores every key press, a reminder that the glass door stood open. The cabinet is fine, and its own keys or its manual switch the mode back off.

Questions
about Cool Off.

Can I clear Cool Off myself?
Press and hold COOL ON for 3 seconds; the menus and preset temperatures should appear.
My new JennAir wine cooler is not getting cold. Is it broken?
Probably not. It arrives in Cool Off; hold COOL ON for 3 seconds to start cooling.
What temperature does a JennAir wine cooler start at after Cool On?
JennAir presets both compartments to 50°F. The upper zone can be set from 42 to 54°F and the lower from 42 to 64°F.
Does Cool Off cut power to my JennAir wine cooler?
No, the control stays powered and still shows Cool On. Unplug the unit or switch off the breaker before cleaning behind the grille.

Back to your everyday

Still showing Cool Off?

When you book, copy the code or the blink pattern as the display shows it, add the whole model number, and say whether the bottles still feel cool — a code gives the technician a head start.
