What No Comm
actually means.

No Comm means the display on the door and the main control board are no longer communicating. U-Line asks owners to disconnect and reconnect power; if that does not help, its service table points at the display and its data cable, which may mean replacing the whole door.

What to do when No Comm shows on the wine cooler

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from U-Line's own guidance for No Comm on its wine coolers. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Unplug the unit or switch off its breaker, wait a minute, and restore power.

02

If No Comm returns, check the wine temperature with a thermometer, since you cannot rely on the display.

03

Book a visit if the message persists.

Questions
about No Comm.

Can I clear No Comm myself?
Unplug the unit or switch off its breaker, wait a minute, and restore power. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why would No Comm mean a new door on a U-Line?
On the 3000 Series the display is built into the door. U-Line’s service notes say to replace the entire door if the display or its cable has failed.
Can I still use the unit while No Comm is showing?
Often yes, since the board may still be cooling. You just cannot see or change settings, so check the temperature yourself.
Did a power outage cause No Comm?
It can. That is why U-Line’s first step is to disconnect and reconnect power.

Still showing No Comm?

When you book, copy the code or the blink pattern as the display shows it, add the whole model number, and say whether the bottles still feel cool — a code gives the technician a head start.
