Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 709-0727

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Vinotemp's own guidance for E7 on its wine coolers. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Open and close the door firmly and see whether E7 clears.

02

Check that nothing on the door edge or the top rack stops the door from closing fully.

03

Keep an eye on the temperature, since a door that is actually ajar warms the cabinet.

04

Book a visit if E7 stays; the switch is replaced, not adjusted.

What not to do

E7 is not the ordinary door-open alarm, which beeps after 60 seconds and stops when the door closes. It is also not a sensor code; E1 and E2 cover the air sensor.

What you may
notice with it.

The wine cooler problems E7 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the wine cooler before anyone is booked.

Questions
about E7.

Can I clear E7 myself?
Open and close the door firmly and see whether E7 clears. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
My Vinotemp shows E7 but the door is shut. Why?
That is how a failed door switch looks: the door is closed, but the control cannot tell. The switch has to be tested and replaced.
Does E7 mean my Vinotemp door gasket is bad?
No, it names the switch, not the gasket. A worn gasket shows up as warm temperatures or condensation, not as a code.
Can I stop the beeping that comes with E7?
On Private Reserve models, pressing POWER once silences the audible alarm. The code itself stays until the switch is fixed.

Still showing E7?

When you book, copy the code or the blink pattern as the display shows it, add the whole model number, and say whether the bottles still feel cool — a code gives the technician a head start.
