What LO
actually means.

LO appears on a Presrv wine cooler when the interior falls below 28°F, and the alarm follows after 15 minutes. The lowest setting on these models is 38°F, so LO means the cabinet is cooling well past its setting.

What to do when LO shows on the wine cooler

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Zephyr's own guidance for LO on its wine coolers. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Check the set temperature on each zone; the range is 38°F to 65°F.

02

Look for bottles frozen against the back wall or corks that have started to rise.

03

Keep the door shut and check again after an hour to see whether the reading recovers.

04

If LO returns, book a visit; a cabinet that runs below freezing on a normal setting needs its sensor and control tested.

Still there?

It usually turns into wine cooler thermostat and sensor repair. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

LO is not a low setting: settings stop at 38°F, and LO starts ten degrees below that. It is also not frost on the back wall, which Zephyr treats as a humidity and defrost matter without a code.

What you may
notice with it.

The wine cooler problems LO tends to arrive with. Answer these at the wine cooler before anyone is booked.

Questions
about LO.

Can I clear LO myself?
Check the set temperature on each zone; the range is 38°F to 65°F. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why does my Zephyr show LO when I set it to 45°F?
Because the cabinet is colder than 28°F whatever the setting says. That points to the sensor or control, not to the number you chose.
How fast does the Zephyr LO alarm sound?
After 15 minutes below 28°F, much sooner than the one-hour delay for HI.
Is the LO limit different on the full-size Zephyr combination model?
On the full-size wine and beverage model, the beverage side alarms below 25°F, while the wine side keeps the 28°F limit.

Still showing LO?

When you book, copy the code or the blink pattern as the display shows it, add the whole model number, and say whether the bottles still feel cool — a code gives the technician a head start.
