The EI24WC10QS generation raises the Temp alarm when the storage compartment has been more than 10°F from set-point for longer than an hour. The status dot goes out, Temp flashes, a tone sounds every 60 seconds, and ALARM RESET appears.

The cooler read a zone well away from its setting and raised an alarm, sometimes showing the warmest figure it reached while the house was empty. The reason may be as small as a door left resting on a bottle neck or a long outage, or as serious as cooling that has stopped. Keep the glass door shut and feel a bottle in the middle of the rack before doing anything else; the alarm is a warning about the wine, not a diagnosis.

Put a thermometer among the bottles and move the most valuable ones if the cabinet is well above the setting.
Allow up to 24 hours to stabilize after a warm load; Electrolux says it can take 48 hours for a full warm load.
