Holding ON/OFF for 3 seconds puts the under-counter Wine Reserve into off mode, which stops cooling and every other function while the display reads OFF. Thermador lists this first when the unit is not cooling. Holding the same key for 3 seconds starts normal operation again.

The cooler saw the supply voltage dip, surge or drop out, or is recording that the power was cut while nobody was home. The cause is as often the outlet, a shared circuit, an extension cord or a storm outage as the cooler itself.
