What LL
actually means.
A Viking FWUI undercounter unit shows LL once a compartment has run below its set point for a long time. Settings are linked on the dual-zone FWUI5242G, where the upper zone limits how cold the lower one may go, so read both numbers before assuming a failure.

What to do when LL shows on the wine coolerKind of codeTemperature and alarms
The cooler read a zone well away from its setting and raised an alarm, sometimes showing the warmest figure it reached while the house was empty. The reason may be as small as a door left resting on a bottle neck or a long outage, or as serious as cooling that has stopped. Keep the glass door shut and feel a bottle in the middle of the rack before doing anything else; the alarm is a warning about the wine, not a diagnosis.
Usually leads toWine cooler thermostat and sensor repair
Testing and replacing the thermostat or the temperature sensors that tell a wine cooler when to cool, when the cabinet runs too cold, too warm or back and forth.
Shows up asWine Cooler Error Code
A wine cooler error code appears as letters and digits on the display, a flashing temperature, dashes where a number should be or a blinking symbol, sometimes with an alarm tone and sometimes while the cabinet stays perfectly cool.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from Viking's own guidance for LL on its wine coolers. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Read the set point of each zone.
Confirm the cold with a thermometer left in a cup of water for an hour.
Pull out any bottle reading close to 32°F, then book a visit if LL does not clear.

What not to do
LL has nothing to do with the door. Overcooling is usually a sensor or control matter, since the refrigeration itself is clearly working.

Still showing LL?
When you book, copy the code or the blink pattern as the display shows it, add the whole model number, and say whether the bottles still feel cool — a code gives the technician a head start.
