The cooler saw the supply voltage dip, surge or drop out, or is recording that the power was cut while nobody was home. The cause is as often the outlet, a shared circuit, an extension cord or a storm outage as the cooler itself. A breaker that will not hold or a whiff of hot plastic means cutting the circuit at the panel, standing dry and clear of the cooler, then leaving the glass door closed until the technician arrives.
