What T1H
actually means.

T1H is the G5 high temperature alarm for zone 1. Perlick defines zone 1 as the cabinet on a single-zone unit, and as the lower, colder section on a dual-zone unit. Its checklist runs through the door and gasket, dirty condenser coils, a blocked front grille, a sudden change in room temperature and recently loaded warm bottles.

What to do when T1H shows on the wine cooler

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Perlick's own guidance for T1H on its wine coolers. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Check that the door and gasket seal all the way around.

02

Clear the front grille and clean the condenser coils if they are dusty; if you just loaded a case of warm bottles, give it 24 hours.

03

If T1H comes back within a week, move the most valuable bottles somewhere cool and dark and book a visit.

What not to do

T1H is not a probe problem; a zone 1 probe that has failed shows P1F. On a dual-zone reserve, T1H is not about the upper section, which reports as T2H.

Questions
about T1H.

Can I clear T1H myself?
Check that the door and gasket seal all the way around. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Which part of my Perlick dual-zone reserve is zone 1?
Perlick defines zone 1 as the lower, colder section on dual-zone units. On a single-zone reserve it is the whole cabinet.
I just restocked my Perlick and T1H appeared. Should I worry?
Not yet. Perlick lists warm product as a cause and suggests waiting 24 hours before checking again.
How long can wine sit in a Perlick showing T1H?
A day of mild warmth does little harm. If the zone stays warm or the alarm keeps returning, move the best bottles and book a visit.

Still showing T1H?

When you book, copy the code or the blink pattern as the display shows it, add the whole model number, and say whether the bottles still feel cool — a code gives the technician a head start.
