What is particular

We service the KWT 6322 UG and KWT 6312 UGS under-counter wine units and the MasterCool KWT 2602 and KWT 2612 wine columns (Vi panel-ready and SF stainless versions). Messages, parts and the door assistant differ between the two families.

Two display languages

The under-counter KWT 6322 UG uses symbols, a flashing zone button and short codes (F1 to F3, S1 to S9). MasterCool columns print sentences such as Close the door or an F message. We ask for a photo of the display before the visit.

DynaCool humidity

Miele's DynaCool raises and spreads humidity through the cabinet with its fans so corks stay moist. A dry cabinet or uneven zones lead us to DynaCool and the fans before the sealed system.

A charcoal filter with a reminder

The under-counter unit filters incoming air through an active charcoal filter and lights a change indicator; Miele suggests replacing it about every 12 months. A stale smell usually starts there.

A compressor that is meant to run long

On MasterCool columns the compressor slows down when little cooling is needed, so long run times are normal and saving energy. We separate that from a unit that runs long because its vents are dusty or its door leaks.

Parts

Charcoal filters and shelves are stock items; control electronics, fans and LED lighting are ordered by model and serial number after the first visit, and Miele reserves the LED lighting for trained service.

Repair or replace

A MasterCool column is built into custom cabinetry and is nearly always worth repairing. On an older under-counter unit with a sealed-system failure, we compare the repair with a replacement that fits the same opening.

Miele lists them together as a problem for its technical service and gives no owner fix. Note the exact code and book a visit.
Why does my Miele MasterCool wine column seem to run all the time?
Miele says this is normal: the compressor runs at a lower speed when less cooling is needed, which lengthens its run time. Clean the ventilation gaps if the cabinet is also warm.
How often should the charcoal filter in a Miele wine unit be changed?
Miele suggests about every 12 months, or when the change indicator lights up. Confirm the change in settings mode afterward so the reminder resets.
My Miele wine column shows Close the door. Is something broken?
