What is particular

We service Liebherr's US wine cabinets: integrated under-counter models (UW3720, UWPri 3761 and 3762), built-in HW 3000, HW 4800 and HW 8000 columns, and freestanding W5250 and WPsd models. The control generation printed in the manual decides which messages apply.

Two control generations

Touch & Swipe models show messages such as Temperature alarm, Door open and Power failure with an error symbol. HW columns flash the temperature display and print F1, F8, E1, E2, E7 or E8. Which one you have decides the first steps.

A filter reminder every six months

Every Liebherr wine cabinet uses a FreshAir activated charcoal filter; newer models remind you every 6 months, while the HW manual suggests once a year. An ignored filter is a common source of stale air.

HumiditySelect and UV protection

Vinidor models let you set standard or high humidity on the display, and the glass doors add UV layers. Dry corks or a sun-facing door change what we check.

Freestanding cabinets need room

Freestanding models such as the W5250 hold up to 155 bottles and depend on the air around them; under-counter models are fully enclosed and need the ventilation the design guide specifies.

Parts

FreshAir filters and shelves are stock parts; displays, sensors, fans and door locks are ordered by model and service number from the rating plate after the first visit.

Repair or replace
